We require a Testing Engineer to be predominantly based in our office in Great Dunmow, Essex, but who is able to visit sites in the South East.

The role is to work within the Contracts Department predominately carrying out electrical testing works to ensure the Company’s compliance with our statutory requirements, throughout all of our sites.

This includes initial site inspection at project commencement, followed by periodic testing thereafter.

Notification and reporting of substandard installations to the area Line Manager, is key to improving the Company’s installation quality and an important part of your activity.

Upon inspection visits you are expected to carry out minor repairs, particularly if these involve the initial earthing and mains arrangements on site.

We specialise in temporary electrics and associated services for the construction industry. Full training in our specialised field of work will be offered to candidates who have not had experience in this field.

Ideally living in within a reasonable commute of our offices in Great Dunmow, Essex. Electrical qualifications are necessary and experience of testing work preferable. Previous experience of temporary electrics would be desirable but not essential as full training would be given to a Tester who would like to develop skills in our industry. Able to drive, with a current driving licence.
